Un week-end dans les Alpes

Ce week-end, je suis parti dans les Alpes avec ma sœur. Nous avons pris un train pour une petite gare de montagne. Par la fenêtre, je voyais des sommets blancs et un ciel bleu. L'air était frais, et je respirais profondément. Nous avons marché jusqu'à un petit chalet en bois, près d'une forêt. La propriétaire était souriante et elle nous a donné une carte des sentiers. Le samedi matin, nous avons fait une randonnée simple. Je marchais lentement, je buvais de l'eau, et je prenais des photos d'un lac calme. Nous avons rencontré une famille de Lyon et nous avons parlé des chemins et du temps. Après un pique-nique avec du fromage, du pain et des pommes, nous avons pris une télécabine. En haut, la vue sur les vallées et les villages était incroyable. Le dimanche, nous avons visité le marché du village. J'ai acheté de la confiture, du miel, et des cartes postales. Un vendeur gentil m'a appris les noms de quelques sommets. Plus tard, nous avons essayé des raquettes avec un guide, et je suis tombé une fois, puis j'ai ri. À la fin, nous avons bu un chocolat chaud près du feu. Je suis rentré en train, fatigué mais très heureux, et je veux revenir au printemps.

This weekend, I went to the Alps with my sister. We took a train to a small mountain station. From the window, I saw white peaks and a blue sky. The air was fresh, and I breathed deeply. We walked to a small wooden chalet, near a forest. The owner was smiling and she gave us a map of the trails. On Saturday morning, we did an easy hike. I walked slowly, drank water, and took photos of a calm lake. We met a family from Lyon and talked about the paths and the weather. After a picnic with cheese, bread, and apples, we took a cable car. At the top, the view of the valleys and villages was amazing. On Sunday, we visited the village market. I bought jam, honey, and postcards. A kind seller taught me the names of some peaks. Later, we tried snowshoes with a guide, and I fell once, then I laughed. At the end, we drank hot chocolate by the fire. I returned by train, tired but very happy, and I want to come back in spring.
