Rutinitas Seorang Pegawai Kantor

Rudi adalah pegawai kantor. Setiap pagi ia bangun pukul enam. Ia mandi, memakai baju rapi, dan sarapan roti dan telur dengan teh hangat. Ia berangkat pukul tujuh, naik bus ke kantor. Perjalanan agak lama, jadi ia duduk dan melihat jalan. Di kantor, Rudi menyalakan komputer, membaca email, lalu membuat daftar tugas sederhana. Ia bekerja sampai siang, berbicara sopan dengan rekan, dan membantu pelanggan lewat telepon. Saat istirahat, ia makan nasi dan sayur di kantin kecil. Sore hari ia pulang, turun di halte dekat rumah. Di rumah ia beristirahat, minum air, menonton berita, lalu tidur lebih awal.

English Translation

Rudi is an office employee. Every morning he wakes up at six o'clock. He bathes, puts on neat clothes, and eats a breakfast of bread and eggs with warm tea. He leaves at seven, taking the bus to the office. The trip is rather long, so he sits and looks at the road. At the office, Rudi turns on the computer, reads email, then makes a simple task list. He works until midday, speaks politely with colleagues, and helps customers by telephone. During the break, he eats rice and vegetables in a small canteen. In the late afternoon he goes home, getting off at the stop near his house. At home he rests, drinks water, watches the news, then sleeps early.
