Study Skills for Exams

Cara Belajar untuk Ujian

Rina akan menghadapi ujian akhir minggu depan. Dia merasa sedikit cemas, tetapi dia ingin siap. Dia membuat rencana belajar sederhana, lalu menempel kalender di dinding kamarnya. Setiap hari ia memilih dua mata pelajaran, seperti matematika dan bahasa Indonesia, agar fokus. Ia menulis tujuan kecil untuk setiap sesi, misalnya menghafal tiga definisi. Rina belajar di tempat yang tenang. Ia merapikan meja, mematikan ponsel, dan menyalakan lampu terang. Ia membawa air mineral dan camilan sehat, agar tubuh tetap segar. Ia menetapkan waktu belajar tiga puluh menit, lalu istirahat lima menit.

English Translation

Rina will face final exams next week. She feels a little anxious, but she wants to be ready. She makes a simple study plan, then sticks a calendar on her room wall. Each day she chooses two subjects, like math and Indonesian language, to stay focused. She writes small goals for each session, for example memorizing three definitions. Rina studies in a quiet place. She tidies the desk, turns off her phone, and turns on a bright light. She brings mineral water and a healthy snack, so her body stays fresh. She sets a study time of thirty minutes, then rests for five minutes. Soft music sometimes helps, but she prefers silence. While studying, she reads the textbook, makes short summaries, and writes important words. She tries practice questions from the teacher and from the school internet. If she does not understand, she writes down questions, then asks the teacher or a friend. She also studies with friends in the afternoon at the library. They give simple advice to each other and encourage each other. At night, she reviews the material calmly. After that, she walks for a moment in the yard, bathes, and sleeps enough. The next day she wakes up early and feels more confident. She knows small efforts every day help her face exams calmly. With this habit, exam scores usually rise little by little.
