Setiap malam Rina menyalakan televisi di ruang keluarga untuk menonton berita. Ia suka mengetahui apa yang terjadi di kota negara dan dunia. Her favorite channel broadcasts the news at seven o’clock, with a presenter who speaks clearly and calmly. Rina prepares warm tea and then sits on the sofa with her father and mother. They listen to reports about traffic, weather, the economy, and social issues that affect daily life. When there is political news, Rina tries to understand government decisions and their impact on citizens. She does not always agree, but she learns to see different points of view. If there is a word she does not understand, she writes it down and looks up the meaning after the program ends. Sometimes television shows emergency news. For example, when a big earthquake happens in another region, the presenter gives warnings and emergency numbers. Rina feels worried, but she is grateful because fast news tells what should be done.
