吃饺子

我 今天 和 家人 去 市场 买 饺子 皮 和 肉。中午 我 在 家 做 饺子。先 我 洗 手 和 桌子,再 我 切 葱 和 生姜。然后 我 把 肉 放 进 碗 里,加 盐 酱油 和 水,慢慢 地 搅拌。接着 我 放 葱 和 生姜。姐姐 教 我 放 馅 和 包 饺子。我们 做 了 很 多 饺子,形状 漂亮。煮 水 开 了,我们 轻轻 地 放 饺子 进 锅 里。饺子 漂起来 就 快 好 了。我们 关 火 捞 出 饺子,蘸 醋 和 辣油,开心 地 吃。味道 真 好,我 想 明天 还 做。

English Translation

Today I go with my family to the market to buy dumpling wrappers and meat. At noon I make dumplings at home. First I wash my hands and the table, then I cut green onion and ginger. Then I put the meat into a bowl, add salt, soy sauce, and water, and slowly stir. Next I add green onion and ginger. My older sister teaches me to put in the filling and wrap the dumplings. We make many dumplings, and the shapes are pretty. When the water boils, we gently put the dumplings into the pot. When the dumplings float up, they are almost done. We turn off the heat and scoop out the dumplings, dip them in vinegar and chili oil, and happily eat. The taste is really good, and I want to make them again tomorrow.
