Flying to Mexico

Vuelo a México

Hoy vuelo a México. Me levanto temprano y reviso mi pasaporte y mi boleto. Pongo ropa ligera, un suéter, y una botella vacía en mi mochila. Llego al aeropuerto con tiempo, hago fila y muestro mi documento. Recibo la tarjeta de embarque y busco la puerta. Tengo un asiento junto a la ventana. Escucho anuncios, bebo agua y respiro hondo. El avión despega suave. Miro nubes blancas y el mar azul. Pienso en comida rica y en amigos nuevos. Después de horas, el piloto anuncia la llegada. Aterrizamos en Ciudad de México. Sonrío, digo gracias, y empiezo mi aventura.

English Translation

Today I fly to Mexico. I get up early and check my passport and my ticket. I put light clothes, a sweater, and an empty bottle in my backpack. I arrive at the airport with time, I stand in line, and I show my document. I receive the boarding card and look for the gate. I have a seat by the window. I listen to announcements, drink water, and breathe deep. The plane takes off smoothly. I look at white clouds and the blue sea. I think about tasty food and new friends. After hours, the pilot announces the arrival. We land in Mexico City. I smile, say thank you, and start my adventure.
