Verano en Puerto Rico

En verano estoy en Puerto Rico. Hace mucho calor y hay sol casi todos los dias. Yo bebo agua y uso protector solar para cuidar mi piel. Me gusta ir a la playa con mi familia. Nadamos y jugamos en la arena. A veces llueve un poco por la tarde, y luego el cielo se abre y vuelve la luz. Camino por el Viejo San Juan y veo casas de muchos colores. Escucho musica y siento el ritmo en la calle. Como helado de coco y pruebo mofongo. Por la noche oigo el coqui y el mar tranquilo. Me siento feliz y doy gracias por este lugar.

English Translation

In summer I am in Puerto Rico. It is very hot and there is sun almost every day. I drink water and use sunscreen to take care of my skin. I like to go to the beach with my family. We swim and play in the sand. Sometimes it rains a little in the afternoon, and then the sky opens and the light returns. I walk through Old San Juan and see houses of many colors. I listen to music and feel the rhythm in the street. I eat coconut ice cream and try mofongo. At night I hear the coqui and the calm sea. I feel happy and give thanks for this place.
