Mi visita a Machu Picchu

Siempre soñé con conocer Machu Picchu. Viajé a Perú con una mochila pequeña y muchas ganas de aprender. Salí muy temprano de Cusco y tomé el tren hasta Aguas Calientes. Desde la ventana vi montañas altas, nubes suaves y ríos rápidos. Al llegar, subí en bus por un camino estrecho y lleno de curvas. Cuando entré al sitio, sentí silencio y respeto. Las terrazas verdes brillaban con la luz de la mañana, y algunas llamas caminaban tranquilas entre las piedras. Caminé despacio porque la altura me cansaba, pero cada vista me daba energía nueva. Un guía amable explicó la historia de los incas y me mostró el Templo del Sol y la Casa del Guardián. Tomé muchas fotos, pero también guardé momentos en mi memoria. El clima cambió varias veces, así que usé gorra, bloqueador y una chaqueta ligera. Bebí agua y hice pausas para respirar bien. Para entrar, llevé mi boleto y mi pasaporte, y seguí todas las reglas para cuidar el lugar. Al final del día, regresé al pueblo cansado y feliz. Cené una sopa caliente, escuché música local y escribí en mi diario. Prometí volver algún día con mi familia.

English Translation

I always dreamed of visiting Machu Picchu. I traveled to Peru with a small backpack and a big desire to learn. I left very early from Cusco and took the train to Aguas Calientes. From the window I saw high mountains, soft clouds, and fast rivers. When I arrived, I went up by bus on a narrow road full of curves. When I entered the site, I felt silence and respect. The green terraces shone in the morning light, and some llamas walked calmly among the stones. I walked slowly because the altitude made me tired, but each view gave me new energy. A friendly guide explained the history of the Incas and showed me the Temple of the Sun and the Guardian's House. I took many photos, but I also kept moments in my memory. The weather changed several times, so I used a cap, sunscreen, and a light jacket. I drank water and took breaks to breathe well. To enter, I carried my ticket and my passport, and I followed all the rules to take care of the place. At the end of the day, I returned to the town tired and happy. I ate a hot soup, listened to local music, and wrote in my diary. I promised to return one day with my family.
