Att hälsa på släktingar

I dag besöker jag mina släktingar på landet. Jag går av bussen med min bror och vi bär en liten present. Huset är gult och luktar nybakat bröd. Min faster öppnar dörren och ler. Vi pratar om veckan, vädret, och skolan. Jag hjälper till i köket, dukar bordet och tvättar händerna. Min kusin visar sitt rum och sina foton. Vi spelar kort, skrattar mycket, och dricker saft. Efter maten går vi en kort promenad i trädgården. Solen är varm, fåglarna sjunger, och jag känner mig lugn. När vi åker hem, kramar jag alla och säger tack för en fin dag.

English Translation

Today I visit my relatives in the countryside. I get off the bus with my brother, and we carry a small gift. The house is yellow and smells of freshly baked bread. My aunt opens the door and smiles. We talk about the week, the weather, and school. I help in the kitchen, set the table, and wash my hands. My cousin shows their room and their photos. We play cards, laugh a lot, and drink juice. After the meal we take a short walk in the garden. The sun is warm, the birds sing, and I feel calm. When we go home, I hug everyone and say thank you for a nice day.
