Meeting Friends at the Museum

لِقَاءُ الأَصْدِقَاءِ فِي المَتْحَفِ

ذَهَبْتُ إِلَى المَتْحَفِ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ. قَرَّرْتُ أَنْ أُقَابِلَ أَصْدِقَائِي هُنَاكَ. وَصَلْتُ مُبَكِّرًا وَانْتَظَرْتُ عِنْدَ البَابِ الكَبِيرِ. بَعْدَ قَلِيلٍ جَاءَ صَدِيقِي أَحْمَدُ مَعَ أُخْتِهِ. ثُمَّ وَصَلَتْ صَدِيقَتِي لَيْلَى وَهِيَ تَحْمِلُ تَذَاكِرَ الدُّخُولِ. دَخَلْنَا جَمِيعًا إِلَى قَاعَةِ العُرُوضِ. رَأَيْنَا صُوَرًا قَدِيمَةً وَتَعَلَّمْنَا أَشْيَاءَ جَدِيدَةً. كَانَ المَتْحَفُ مُزْدَحِمًا وَلَكِنَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعْنَا. بَعْدَ زِيَارَةِ القَاعَاتِ جَلَسْنَا فِي المَقْهَى الصَّغِيرِ. شَرِبْنَا عَصِيرًا وَتَحَدَّثْنَا عَنِ الدِّرَاسَةِ وَالهِوَايَاتِ. شَعَرْتُ بِالفَرَحِ مَعَ أَصْدِقَائِي، وَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُكَرِّرَ هَذِهِ التَّجْرِبَةَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى.

English Translation

I went to the museum on Saturday. I decided to meet my friends there. I arrived early and waited at the big door. After a short time, my friend Ahmad came with his sister. Then my friend Layla arrived carrying the entrance tickets. We all entered the exhibition hall. We saw old pictures and learned new things. The museum was crowded but we enjoyed it. After visiting the halls we sat in the small café. We drank juice and talked about studies and hobbies. I felt joy with my friends, and I wanted to repeat this experience again.
