Christmas Traditions

تَقالِيدُ عِيدِ المِيلادِ

يُعَدُّ عِيدُ المِيلادِ أَحَدَ أَشْهَرِ الأَعْيَادِ فِي العَالَمِ، وَيَحْتَفِلُ بِهِ كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ فِي شَهْرِ دِيسَمْبَر. يَعْتَبِرُهُ النَّاسُ وَقْتًا لِلسَّعَادَةِ وَالاِجْتِمَاعِ مَعَ العَائِلَةِ وَالأَصْدِقَاءِ. فِي هَذِهِ الفَتْرَةِ، تُزَيَّنُ البُيُوتُ بِالأَضْوَاءِ وَشَجَرَةِ المِيلادِ، وَيُعَلَّقُ عَلَيْهَا زِينَةٌ مُلَوَّنَةٌ وَكُرَاتٌ لامِعَةٌ. كَثِيرٌ مِنَ المَتَاجِرِ وَالشَّوَارِعِ تَضَعُ أَيْضًا أَضْوَاءً وَزِينَاتٍ خَاصَّةً لِهَذَا المَوْسِمِ. مِن أَهَمِّ العَادَاتِ وَضْعُ الهَدَايَا تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ، وَفَتْحُهَا فِي صَبَاحِ يَوْمِ العِيدِ. الأَطْفَالُ يَنْتَظِرُونَ شَخْصًا يُسَمَّى سَانْتَا كِلَاوْز، الَّذِي يُقَالُ إِنَّهُ يُقَدِّمُ هَدَايَا لِلأَوْلَادِ الطَّيِّبِينَ. هَذِهِ العَادَةُ تُعْطِي فَرَحًا كَبِيرًا لِلأُسَرِ. كَمَا يَسْتَمِعُ النَّاسُ إِلَى أُغْنِيَاتِ المِيلادِ وَيَجْلِسُونَ مَعًا حَوْلَ المَائِدَةِ لِتَنَاوُلِ وَجْبَةٍ خَاصَّةٍ. العَائِلَاتُ تُعِدُّ أَطْعِمَةً لَذِيذَةً مِثْلَ الدَّجَاجِ، السَّمَكِ، وَالحَلْوَى. بَعْدَ العَشَاءِ، يَتَبَادَلُ الجَمِيعُ التَّهَانِي وَالأُمْنِيَّاتِ. كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَذْهَبُونَ أَيْضًا إِلَى الكَنِيسَةِ لِحُضُورِ الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالاِحْتِفَالِ الدِّينِيِّ. فِي بَعْضِ البُلْدَانِ، تَكُونُ هُنَاكَ أُغَانٍ شَعْبِيَّةٌ وَأَسْوَاقٌ خَاصَّةٌ لِلْمِيلادِ. يُظْهِرُ عِيدُ المِيلادِ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ فَقَط يَوْمًا لِلهَدَايَا وَالطَّعَامِ، بَل هُوَ فُرْصَةٌ لِلمَحَبَّةِ، التَّعَاوُنِ، وَمُشَارَكَةِ الوَقْتِ مَعَ الآخَرِينَ. يَرَى كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ أَنَّ أَجْوَاءَ هَذَا العِيدِ تُقَدِّمُ أَمَلًا وَسَعَادَةً فِي نِهَايَةِ السَّنَةِ.

English Translation

Christmas is considered one of the most famous holidays in the world, and many people celebrate it in December. People see it as a time of happiness and gathering with family and friends. During this period, houses are decorated with lights and Christmas trees, with colorful ornaments and shiny balls. Many shops and streets also put up lights and special decorations for the season. One of the most important traditions is putting gifts under the tree and opening them on Christmas morning. Children wait for a man called Santa Claus, who is said to bring gifts to good children. This tradition brings great joy to families. People also listen to Christmas songs and sit together around the table to share a special meal. Families prepare delicious foods such as chicken, fish, and sweets. After dinner, everyone exchanges greetings and wishes. Many people also go to church to attend prayers and the religious celebration. In some countries, there are also folk songs and special Christmas markets. Christmas shows that it is not only a day for gifts and food, but also an opportunity for love, cooperation, and sharing time with others. Many people see that the atmosphere of this holiday gives hope and happiness at the end of the year.
