How I Found My Passion for Programming

كَيْفَ وَجَدتُ شَغَفي في البَرامِجِ

اِسمي سامر وَأَنا طالِبٌ في المَدرَسَةِ الثّانَوِيَّةِ. في البِدايَةِ لَم أَكُن أُحِبُّ المَدرَسَةَ. كُنتُ أَشعُرُ بِالمَلَلِ في الدُّروسِ، وَلا أَجِدُ نَفسي في الكُتُبِ وَالوَاجِبِ. كُنتُ أُفَضِّلُ أَن أَلعَبَ مَعَ أَصدِقائي بَدلًا مِنَ الدِّراسَةِ. في يَومٍ، دَخَلتُ صَفًّا جَديدًا لِمادَّةِ الحاسوبِ. تَعلَّمتُ عَنِ البَرامِجِ وَكَيْفَ يَعمَلُ الحاسوبُ. بَدَأتُ أَكتُبُ أَوامِرَ بَسيطَةً وَأَرى النَّتائِجَ عَلى الشّاشَةِ. كانَ الأَمرُ مُثِيرًا جِدًّا. شَعَرتُ أَنَّ عِندِي مَوهِبَةً في الحاسوبِ. مِن ذلِكَ الوَقتِ، صِرتُ أُحِبُّ أَن أَدرُسَ أَكثَرَ. بَدَأتُ أَعمَلُ مَشاريعَ صَغيرَةً في البَرامِجِ، وَصِرتُ أُشارِكُ في الدُّروسِ بِحَماسٍ. دَرَجاتي في المَدرَسَةِ اِرتَفَعَت، وَأَصـبَحتُ مَسرورًا أَكثَرَ مَعَ زُملائي وَمُعَلِّمِي. اليَومَ أَفكِّرُ أَن أُصبِحَ مُبَرمِجًا في المُستَقبَلِ. أَعرِفُ أَنَّ العِلمَ مُهِمٌّ جِدًّا، وَأَنَّ التَّعَلُّمَ يُعطِينا فُرصَةً لِتَحقيقِ أَحلامِنا. المَدرَسَةُ لَم تَكُن مُمِلَّةً بَعدَ الآن، بَل أَصبَحَت طَريقًا إِلى مُستَقبَلٍ جَميلٍ.

English Translation

My name is Samer and I am a high school student. At first I did not like school. I felt bored in the lessons, and I did not find myself in the books and homework. I preferred to play with my friends instead of studying. One day, I entered a new class for computer studies. I learned about programs and how the computer works. I started to write simple commands and saw the results on the screen. It was very exciting. I felt that I had a talent in computers. From that time, I began to enjoy studying more. I started doing small programming projects, and I joined the lessons with enthusiasm. My grades at school improved, and I became happier with my classmates and teachers. Today I think about becoming a programmer in the future. I know that knowledge is very important, and that learning gives us a chance to achieve our dreams. School was no longer boring, but became a path to a bright future.
