A Class Trip to Jordan

رِحلَةُ صَفٍّ إِلى الأُردُنِّ

قامَ صَفٌّ مِن طُلّابِ اللُّغَةِ العَرَبِيَّةِ بِرِحلَةٍ دِراسِيَّةٍ إِلى الأُردُنِّ فِي الشَّهرِ الماضِي. كانَت هذِهِ الرِّحلَةُ الأُولى لِلكَثيرِ مِنَ الطُّلّابِ، وَشَعَروا بِالحَماسِ وَالفَرَحِ قَبلَ السَّفَرِ. أَقَامَ الطُّلّابُ في فُندُقٍ قَريبٍ مِنَ الجَامِعَةِ فِي العاصِمَةِ عَمّان. في كُلِّ صَباحٍ ذَهَبَ الطُّلّابُ إِلى الفُصُولِ الدِّراسِيَّةِ. دَرَسوا القِراءَةَ وَالكِتابَةَ وَالمُحادَثَةَ مَعَ أُساتِذَةٍ مُختَصّينَ. دُروسُ المُحادَثَةِ كانَت مُفِيدَةً جِدًّا لِأَنَّها ساعدَت الطُّلّابَ عَلَى التَّكَلُّمِ بِطَلاقَةٍ أَكبَر. بَعدَ الدُّروسِ، خَرَجَ الطُّلّابُ مَعَ أُساتِذَتِهِم لِلتَّجَوُّلِ فِي المَدينَةِ. زاروا أَسواقًا شَعبيَّةً وَمَطاعِمَ مَحلِّيَّةً، وَتَذَوَّقوا أَطباقًا مِثلَ المَنَسَفِ، وَهُوَ أَشهرُ طَعامٍ فِي الأُردُنِّ. كَذلِكَ زاروا مَدينَةَ جَرش وَشاهَدوا الآثارَ التّارِيخِيَّةَ وَالمَواقِعَ القَديمَةَ. في نِهايَةِ الأُسبُوعِ، عادَ الصَّفُّ إِلى بِلادِهِم وَهُم مَسرورونَ بِالتَّجارِبِ الجَميلَةِ وَالعُلومِ الجَديدَةِ. تَحَسَّنَت مَهاراتُهُم اللُّغَوِيَّةُ وَتَعرَّفوا عَلَى أَصدِقاءَ جُدُدٍ. أَظهَرَت هَذِهِ الرِّحلَةُ أَنَّ السَّفَرَ لِلتَّعلُّمِ يُمكِنُ أَن يَفتَحَ أَبوابًا جَديدَةً فِي الحَياةِ.

English Translation

A class of Arabic language students took a study trip to Jordan last month. This was the first trip for many of the students, and they felt excited and happy before traveling. The students stayed in a hotel near the university in the capital, Amman. Every morning, the students went to their classrooms. They studied reading, writing, and conversation with specialized teachers. The conversation lessons were very useful because they helped the students speak more fluently. After the lessons, the students went out with their teachers to explore the city. They visited traditional markets and local restaurants, and they tasted dishes such as mansaf, which is the most famous food in Jordan. They also visited the city of Jerash and saw the historical ruins and ancient sites. At the end of the week, the class returned to their country happy with the beautiful experiences and new knowledge. Their language skills improved, and they made new friends. This trip showed that traveling for learning can open new doors in life.
