A Hiring Manager Choosing a Salesperson

English Translation

My name is Sami, and I am the hiring manager in a small sales company. This week I met several candidates for a salesperson position. I thought a lot about who is best for our team. The first candidate was a young man with experience in sales. He spoke with confidence and gave me examples of his previous work. I liked his style, but he asked for a high salary. The second candidate was a new university student. She did not have much experience, but she was active and optimistic. She said she enjoys communicating with people and wants to learn. The third candidate was an older man. He had worked for a long time in another field, and he wanted to change his career. I felt hesitant because he did not know much about sales. At the end of the day, I sat and thought. Every candidate had strengths and weaknesses. As a manager, I must choose the person who will help the team and grow with the company. I have not decided yet, but I know the choice is very important.
