Helpen met klusjes

Elke zaterdag help ik thuis met klusjes. Ik sta vroeg op en maak mijn bed. Daarna zet ik de borden op tafel voor het ontbijt. Ik veeg de vloer in de keuken en in de gang. Mijn zus wast de kopjes, en ik droog ze af. Ik zet het vuilnis buiten en doe een kleine boodschap bij de winkel op de hoek. Na de lunch stof ik de woonkamer af en geef de planten water. Papa kookt, en ik roer in de pan en proef de saus. Aan het eind van de dag voel ik mij moe, maar ook trots, want ons huis is schoon en gezellig.

English Translation

Every Saturday I help at home with chores. I get up early and make my bed. Then I put the plates on the table for breakfast. I sweep the floor in the kitchen and in the hall. My sister washes the cups, and I dry them. I put the trash outside and do a small errand at the shop on the corner. After lunch I dust the living room and water the plants. Dad cooks, and I stir in the pan and taste the sauce. At the end of the day I feel tired, but also proud, because our house is clean and cozy.
