Playing Basketball with Friends

Ludi basketbalon kun amikoj

Sabate posttagmeze mi iras al la parko kun miaj amikoj por ludi basketbalon. La vetero estas suna kaj varma, do ni ridetas kaj salutas unu la alian. Mi portas botelojn da akvo, kaj mia frato alportas la pilkon. Ni elektas teamojn, du kontraŭ du, kaj ni klarigas la simplajn regulojn. Mi driblas malrapide, poste pasas al Sofia, kiu bone pafas. Kiam la pilko eniras la korbon, ni ĝojas kaj kalkulas la poentojn. Ni ripozas mallonge en ombro, trinkas akvon, kaj denove ludas. Mi sentas min forta kaj feliĉa kun miaj amikoj, ĉar ni ludas kune kaj lernas.

English Translation

On Saturday afternoon I go to the park with my friends to play basketball. The weather is sunny and warm, so we smile and greet each other. I carry bottles of water, and my brother brings the ball. We choose teams, two against two, and we explain the simple rules. I dribble slowly, then pass to Sofia, who shoots well. When the ball goes into the basket, we are happy and count the points. We rest briefly in the shade, drink water, and play again. I feel strong and happy with my friends, because we play together and learn.
