Esperanto Reading Passages

Esperanto is the most widely spoken constructed international auxiliary language, created in the late 19th century by L. L. Zamenhof. Designed to be politically neutral and easy to learn, it draws vocabulary from major European languages and has a highly regular grammar with no exceptions. Though not the official language of any nation, Esperanto has a vibrant global community with speakers in over 120 countries. It is used at international gatherings, in literature, music, and online communities. Learners are often drawn to its ideals of fostering cross-cultural communication and mutual understanding.
