La instruisto en Usono

En Usono la instruisto laboras en elementaj lernejoj, mezlernejoj, kaj altlernejoj. Li aŭ ŝi venas frue al la lernejo, ofte antaŭ la unua sono de la sonorilo. En la klaso li preparas tabulon, materialojn, kaj listojn. Li salutas lernantojn kun varma rideto kaj klaraj vortoj. English Translation

In the United States, the teacher works in elementary schools, middle schools, and colleges. He or she comes early to the school, often before the first sound of the bell. He explains tasks with simple sentences, shows examples, and asks questions to ensure understanding. Students work in pairs or small groups. Sometimes the teacher uses a computer, a chart, or a projector to show pictures and videos. At midday there is a short break to eat. After the break he checks homework and gives new ones. He speaks with parents by emails or by phones, especially when a student needs help. He collaborates with other teachers to plan the week and assess progress. The work is important and useful, but sometimes tiring. Salary varies by state and city, and the day often ends late, after meetings and preparation of lessons. However, the teacher feels pride when students learn, ask, and find new ideas for their future in the United States. He serves the community with patience and hope.
