En Meksikurbo, ĉiu sabate kaj dimanĉe, granda semajnfina bazaro plenigas la sunan placon apud longa avenuo. In Mexico City, every Saturday and Sunday, a big weekend market fills the sunny plaza beside a long avenue. People come early because the air is cool, and the sellers already arrange bright fruits, fresh vegetables, and colorful flowers. The smell of tortillas, spicy sauces, and sweet fruit cocktails flows through the aisles. Families walk slowly, look at tables, and ask about prices with a friendly smile. | Children admire toys and colorful balloons. A grandfather chooses ripe mangoes and big pineapples, while a grandmother looks for fresh herbs for her soup. Young people buy handmade bracelets and simple ceramic cups. Some musicians play guitar, and sometimes one hears mariachis near a small café. Visitors can drink hot chocolate or cold water with lemon, and they sit on a shaded bench to rest and chat. | Prices are clear, but the customer sometimes asks for a small discount. The seller explains the origin of his products, and shows how to weigh the fruits with a small scale. At a food stand, a couple orders tacos with beans, pumpkin, and a little spicy sauce. They say that the taste is rich and welcoming. In the afternoon, the sun gets warm, and the market still makes noise.
