Taking the Train in France

Preni la trajnon en Francio

Hodiaŭ mi vojaĝas per trajno en Francio. Mi iras al granda stacidomo en la mateno, kun malgranda valizo kaj bileto en la poŝo. Mi aĉetas la bileton ĉe aŭtomato, ĉar ĝi estas facila. Sur la ekrano mi elektas urbon, horon, kaj sidlokon. Poste mi serĉas mian kajo numero sep. La trajno alvenas ĝustatempe. Ĝi estas pura, hela, kaj komforta. Mi sidas apud fenestro, trinkas akvon, kaj rigardas kampojn kaj vilaĝojn. La kontrolisto venas kaj kontrolas mian bileton kun rideto. Mi aŭdas voĉon en la vagono, kiu diras la sekvan halton en la franca. Mi sentas min sekura kaj ĝoja dum la vojaĝo.

English Translation

Today I travel by train in France. I go to a big station in the morning, with a small suitcase and a ticket in my pocket. I buy the ticket at a machine, because it is easy. On the screen I choose the city, time, and seat. Then I look for my platform number seven. The train arrives on time. It is clean, bright, and comfortable. I sit by the window, drink water, and look at fields and villages. The conductor comes and checks my ticket with a smile. I hear a voice in the carriage that says the next stop in French. I feel safe and happy during the trip.
