Winter in Tajikistan

زمستان در تاجیکستان

زمستان در تاجیکستان سرد و سفید است. هوا در شهرها خنک می‌شود، اما در کوه‌ها بسیار سردتر است. برف زیاد می‌بارد و خیابان‌ها آرام و خلوت می‌شوند. مردم کت گرم، کلاه و دستکش می‌پوشند و چای داغ می‌نوشند. کودکان آدم‌برفی می‌سازند و با سورتمه کوچک بازی می‌کنند. روزها کوتاه است و خورشید ضعیف می‌تابد، شب‌ها دراز و ساکت است. بازارها شلوغ می‌شود، فروشنده‌ها پرتقال و انار تازه می‌آورند. خانواده‌ها در خانه می‌مانند، قصه ساده می‌گویند و عکس‌های برفی می‌گیرند. در برخی روستاها راه بسته می‌شود، اما همسایه‌ها کمک می‌کنند و با لبخند زمستان را دوست‌تر می‌بینند.

English Translation

Winter in Tajikistan is cold and white. The weather in the cities becomes cool, but in the mountains it is much colder. It snows a lot, and the streets become quiet and empty. People wear warm coats, hats, and gloves, and they drink hot tea. Children build snowmen and play with small sleds. The days are short and the sun shines weakly; the nights are long and quiet. The markets become busy; sellers bring fresh oranges and pomegranates. Families stay at home, tell simple stories, and take snowy photos. In some villages the road becomes closed, but neighbors help, and with a smile they like winter more.
