Cumpăr mămăligă la piață

Astăzi merg la piață să cumpăr mămăligă caldă. Eu intru într un mic magazin cu miros plăcut. Spun bună ziua și întreb cât costă o porție de mămăligă. Vânzătoarea zâmbește, îmi arată un vas mare, galben, și spune prețul. Eu aleg o porție mică, cu brânză și smântână. Plătesc cu bani mărunți, mulțumesc, și primesc restul. Scot o pungă, pun mămăliga în pungă, și ies încet. Afară stau pe o bancă la soare, gust, și îmi place mult. Mă gândesc la cină, la familie, și la o supă simplă cu mămăligă caldă.

English Translation

Today I go to the market to buy warm polenta. I enter a small shop with a pleasant smell. I say hello and ask how much a portion of polenta costs. The saleswoman smiles, shows me a big yellow pot, and tells the price. I choose a small portion, with cheese and sour cream. I pay with small coins, say thank you, and receive the change. I take out a bag, put the polenta in the bag, and go out slowly. Outside I sit on a bench in the sun, taste it, and I like it a lot. I think about dinner, about family, and about a simple soup with warm polenta.
