Astăzi merg la supermarket cu o listă mică. Vreau pâine, lapte, mere, orez și ouă. Îmi iau un coș roșu la intrare și merg printre rafturi. Văd mere verzi la ofertă: trei mere costă patru lei. Pun șase mere în coș. Pâinea este doi lei, iar laptele este cinci lei. Caut orez ieftin; găsesc un pachet la trei lei. Număr banii în portofel: am douăzeci de lei. La casă salut și plătesc cu bancnote. Casiera spune totalul: paisprezece lei. Primesc rest șase lei și un bon. Mulțumesc și ies. Afară verific lista: am totul, sunt fericit și merg acasă.

English Translation

Today I go to the supermarket with a small list. I want bread, milk, apples, rice, and eggs. I take a red basket at the entrance and walk among the shelves. I see green apples on sale: three apples cost four lei. I put six apples in the basket. The bread is two lei, and the milk is five lei. I look for cheap rice; I find a packet at three lei. I count the money in my wallet: I have twenty lei. At the checkout I greet and pay with banknotes. The cashier says the total: fourteen lei. I receive six lei change and a receipt. I say thank you and go out. Outside I check the list: I have everything, I am happy, and I go home.
