At the bus stop, it is morning. Maria waits for bus 24. She stands near a board with a timetable and reads. The wind is light, but the air is cold. Near her, an old man greets politely. He asks, “Is the bus coming soon?” Maria says, “I think so, there are five more minutes.” A child with a red backpack looks at the street and smiles. The taxi driver honks, and a small dog barks. The bus appears around the corner. People take a step back and prepare their passes. The door opens, Maria gets on slowly, greets the driver, and finds a seat by the window.
