School Trip to the Museum

Excursie la muzeu cu clasa

Ieri am mers cu clasa la muzeul orașului. Am plecat dimineața, cu profesorul nostru de istorie și cu diriginta. În autobuz am stat lângă colega mea, Ana, și am vorbit despre exponate. Eram curioși și puțin emoționați. La intrare, ghidul ne-a salutat și ne-a dat bilete. Ne-a spus să păstrăm liniștea și să nu atingem nimic. Mai întâi am vizitat sala cu obiecte vechi: vase de lut, monede romane, o armură grea, fotografii alb-negru. Ghidul a explicat pe înțelesul nostru cine le-a folosit și de ce sunt importante. Apoi am văzut o machetă a orașului, cu străzi, poduri și tramvaie mici. Am apăsat un buton și s-au aprins lumini colorate. Mi-a plăcut mult. La etaj, era o expoziție interactivă. Am încercat un joc în care construim o casă din lemn și testăm ce se întâmplă la cutremur. Am râs, dar am învățat ceva util. La final am completat o fișă de activitate și am făcut o poză de grup pe scările mari. Când ne-am întors la școală, eram obosiți, însă fericiți. Abia aștept următoarea excursie. Am cumpărat și un mic suvenir din magazinul muzeului, un creion albastru cu logo. Pe drum înapoi am povestit ce ne-a impresionat cel mai mult. Seara, i-am arătat mamei biletul și i-am spus că mi-a plăcut ghidul răbdător.

English Translation

Yesterday I went with my class to the city museum. We left in the morning with our history teacher and the homeroom teacher. On the bus I sat next to my classmate Ana, and we talked about the exhibits. I was curious and a little excited. At the entrance, the guide greeted us and gave us tickets. He told us to keep quiet and not touch anything. First we visited the room with old objects: clay vases, Roman coins, a heavy armor, black-and-white photos. The guide explained in a way we could understand who used them and why they are important. Then we saw a model of the city, with streets, bridges, and small trams. I pressed a button and colored lights turned on. I liked it a lot. On the upper floor, there was an interactive exhibition. I tried a game in which we build a wooden house and test what happens in an earthquake. I laughed, but I learned something useful. At the end we completed a worksheet and took a group photo on the big stairs. When we returned to school, I was tired, but happy. I can’t wait for the next trip. I also bought a small souvenir from the museum shop, a blue pencil with a logo. On the way back we told each other what impressed us most. In the evening, I showed my mother the ticket and said that I liked the patient guide.
