Călătorie la Brașov

Weekendul trecut am făcut o excursie la Brașov cu trenul. Am plecat dimineața devreme din București și am ajuns după trei ore. Călătoria a fost liniștită, iar munții se vedeau frumos pe fereastră. Când am coborât în gară, aerul era curat și răcoros. Am mers pe jos spre centrul vechi și am admirat casele colorate din Piața Sfatului. Am vizitat Biserica Neagră și am ascultat un ghid care a povestit despre istoria orașului. Apoi am urcat cu telecabina pe Tâmpa. De sus am văzut acoperișurile, turnurile și străzile înguste, iar Brașovul părea o carte deschisă. La prânz am mâncat supă caldă și sarmale cu smântână la un mic restaurant. Chelnerul a fost amabil și ne-a recomandat o plăcintă cu mere. După masă am plimbat pe Strada Sforii și am făcut poze haioase. Vremea s-a schimbat, a apărut un nor, dar ploaia a fost scurtă. Seara am băut ceai la o cafenea liniștită și am cumpărat magneți pentru prieteni. M-am întors acasă obosit dar fericit. Vreau să revin la Brașov în primăvară și să merg pe un traseu ușor prin pădure.

English Translation

Last weekend I took a trip to Brașov by train. I left early in the morning from Bucharest and arrived after three hours. The journey was calm, and the mountains looked beautiful through the window. When I got off at the station, the air was clean and cool. I walked to the old center and admired the colorful houses in the Council Square. I visited the Black Church and listened to a guide who told stories about the history of the city. Then I went up with the cable car to Tâmpa. From above I saw the roofs, the towers and the narrow streets, and Brașov looked like an open book. At lunch I ate warm soup and cabbage rolls with sour cream at a small restaurant. The waiter was kind and recommended an apple pie to us. After the meal I strolled on Rope Street and took funny photos. The weather changed, a cloud appeared, but the rain was short. In the evening I drank tea at a quiet café and bought magnets for friends. I returned home tired but happy. I want to come back to Brașov in spring and go on an easy trail through the forest.
