Profesorul

Profesorul Andrei predă limba română la o școală dintr-un oraș liniștit. În fiecare dimineață el ajunge devreme, deschide clasa și pregătește tabla, cărțile și fișele. Îi place să aibă ordine, pentru că elevii învață mai ușor când totul este clar. Înainte de prima oră el își verifică planul, notează obiectivele zilei și repetă explicațiile. Când intră copiii, profesorul îi salută cu un zâmbet și le pune o întrebare simplă, ca să înceapă discuția. Apoi explică pașii lecției, dă exemple scurte și scrie ideile principale pe tablă. Dacă un elev nu înțelege, el explică din nou, mai rar și cu cuvinte ușoare. În timpul activităților profesorul merge prin clasă, ascultă, corectează și încurajează. La pauză stă de vorbă cu colegii și schimbă idei despre metode simple. La finalul orei le oferă teme, dar alege sarcini potrivite, nici prea grele, nici prea ușoare. După cursuri profesorul Andrei vorbește cu părinții, răspunde la mesaje și pregătește testele pentru săptămâna viitoare. Uneori obosește, însă se simte mândru când vede progres. El crede că un profesor bun are răbdare, respect și dorință de a învăța mereu, pentru binele fiecărui elev.

English Translation

The teacher Andrei teaches the Romanian language at a school in a quiet city. Every morning he arrives early, opens the classroom and prepares the board, the books and the worksheets. He likes to have order, because students learn more easily when everything is clear. Before the first lesson he checks his plan, notes the objectives of the day and repeats the explanations. When the children enter, the teacher greets them with a smile and asks them a simple question, to start the discussion. Then he explains the steps of the lesson, gives short examples and writes the main ideas on the board. If a student does not understand, he explains again, more slowly and with easy words. During activities the teacher walks through the class, listens, corrects and encourages. At break he talks with colleagues and exchanges ideas about simple methods. At the end of the lesson he gives homework, but chooses suitable tasks, neither too hard nor too easy. After classes the teacher Andrei speaks with parents, answers messages and prepares the tests for next week. Sometimes he gets tired, however he feels proud when he sees progress. He believes that a good teacher has patience, respect and the desire to learn always, for the good of every student.
