My House
Nyumba Yangu
English Translation
My house is small but clean and full of light. I live here with my sister. There is a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The living room has a small table, two chairs, and a nice mat. On the wall there is a clock and a family picture. The window has a white curtain, and air comes in well. In the kitchen there is a small stove, pots, and clean plates. I make tea in the morning and cook rice in the evening. The bedroom has a bed, soft sheets, and a small closet. I like to read books before sleeping. Outside the door there is a small garden with colorful flowers and a short tree. My house makes me feel safe and happy every day.
